Collapsed Drains
We have the right equipment and experience to excavate and replace any collapsed drains.
There can be different reasons why your drain would have collapsed, which can cause issues to your domestic or commercial property internally and externally. The most common causes of a collapsed drain generally would be ingress from tree roots, damage from building works or gradual movement underground.
Most of the drainage system underground is made up of clay pipe, which can be vulnerable to crack, break and collapse under pressure, leading to severe blockages due to the loss or reduction of flow through the system. In the current day and age drainage is now laid using uPVC-based materials, such materials are much more hard-wearing than the initial clay pipes.
When the sewage system or plumbing pipes have completely collapsed and there is no way of a quick repair using no-dig methods, drain excavation and replacement of the pipe is the only way to fix the problem, however we can help by providing a fixed cost and have the right experience and tools to carefully excavate and replace any collapsed drains with new uPVC, which is nearly impossible to break under the usual pressures that would cause an older clay pipe to fail.
